Cohnirri Space blog takes up mantle of Distant Destinies before it

The new title of Cohnirri Space was based on the use of the alien name as the title because it didn't sound like anything elsewhere.

Adam Browne's recent publication of the first three books this past weekend on ebook Kindle has raised some early buzz.

The curious space opera saga of spaceflight and space wars, exploration and intrigue will take readers to strange planets with a crew of confident space forces as they battle mysterious dark alien forces.

Production history of this long running but never official publication started in 1984 with a comic book adaption and a narrative video, which could be called a cartoon if he had actual cartoon characters, which it did not.

Through title changes discussed here, many hurdles, many contributors including a nephew or two, and more, the story finally settling on Distant Destinies in 2008, the first of then seven manuscripts was released under Author House, but in 2015 that went off line.

Three of the Cohnirri Space stories are now up!

Promo materials and likely an interview on the Kal Kat show will be pending.

Adam Browne is Kal Kat, so that will be kind of weird. Ha.

Cohnirri Destinies series will take humanity to the stars in 2019

Adam Browne returns to the 7 book series formerly called Distant Destinies, and published by Author House in 2008 till 2014. The first book was the only one published. Since then, it seemed that the title was confused for a rock album, Distant Desnty, no relation, and a lackluster video game series, Destiny, also not related.

Using the alien name of the cousin race in the story will change the title for the seven books, but subtitles will be from the unpublished books.

The first story is considerably different from the 2008 version, but is similar. It has a lot of characters, setting and story from the first.

Name Change to Avoid Confusion Reveals Why Story Has Taken So Long

Browne Press and Starship Locations has finally disclosed a main reason why there has been no sign of a reprint of Distant Destinies in 2018, thus far. Brand confusion.

From the original title, which wasn't original, in 1984, Space The Final Frontier, (obviously from Star Trek)...

To Plantcom, 1984 title, the story of space flight, rebranded in 1986...

To Planetcom, or Planet Com, in 1986, which shortly later had problems, due to Rendesvous with Rama calling their version of the Internet that, Planet com, should for planet communications. In 1986, Adam had not yet read Rama).

To Distant Cousins in 1992, which within a year was confused for a horror movie, Distant Cousins, and also it sounds like a soap opera.

To Distant Planets, which sounds a little like a Cosmos rip off.

To Distant Journeys, which also was like a spiritual walk thing in 1997.

On to Distant Destinies, 2008, which sounds like, Distant Desinty, a musical album, 2011, having nothing to do with this, to the awful space video game, Destiny and Destiny 2, 2016, 2018.

They are even confusing the author, Adam Browne, with another two authors, one of which wrote fantasy, about dragons, and another, historic fables about Quixote!

Several of the alien names were also changed over the years.

They might use the alien name in the title of each.

This is to be announced.

A title alteration is actually the last step. The stories are finished. Then they would look for self publishers.

Stay Tuned for Distant Destinies in 2018

The legend is far from over, and will return, really, in 2018. Adam Browne will helm all seven books and release them consecutively starting in 2018. The venue isn't yet chosen, but it is coming.
